Who We Are

The Gathering is a place where all people are invited into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ. We offer a church where you can meet new friends in a non-judgmental, non-traditional setting and learn what it means to follow Christ in your community and in the world. Each week, we come together for passionate worship, relevant, biblically based studies and sermons that offer God’s answers for real-life questions. During the week, we serve the community by offering small groups, 12-step recovery, and pastoral counseling. If you have been looking for a church that does what Jesus says and loves like Jesus loves, you have come to the right place. I’m looking forward to meeting you at The Gathering.

Core Values

Authentic—We measure spiritual growth by our ability to live Monday to Saturday what we preach, teach, and learn in our worship on Sunday. We view worship not just as an event, but as a lifestyle.

Accountable—We believe that God loves all people just as they are, but that He is not finished with us yet. We are both accepted and accountable—to God, ourselves, and to others as we are in the process of becoming the people that God intended for us to be through the power of Jesus Christ.

Missional—We seek not just to go to church, but to be the church wherever we go. We come together in order to be sent out. We are God’s people partnering with God in changing lives, healing our community, and building the kingdom of God one life at a time.

Relevant—We seek to follow Christ’s model of remaining culturally relevant in our teaching, preaching, music, and worship style. We will constantly be seeking ways to connect the timeless truths of scripture to the present-day issues of life so that people of all backgrounds can learn and grow in their faith.
